DIANNE  VOTTERO  DOCKERY
Mixed Media Artist

    Dianne's Artist Statement

Early in life, very early in fact, I wanted to be an artist.

A set of conte crayons passed down from an immigrant
Italian uncle and my grandmother's recycled butcher's
paper were all the tools that a three-year old needed
to launch out as a visual artist.

My professional biography reveals my decision to
pursue a career path in the visual arts, a path from
which I have not digressed in 40 plus years.

It is a joy and responsibility to work out visually the
talent God knitted into my being.  Cloth and paper are
the media I have chosen to express hope, faith, and
    love.
